Original music for your voice, stage or next production.
Explore licensing possibilities across the Gran America Music catalog. Whether you are a singer, band, producer, record label, filmmaker, advertising team or live-event organizer, we can discuss how an original song may fit your project.
Each composition and proposed use is reviewed individually. We can discuss available recordings, production materials, arrangements and licensing terms. Browsing or listening does not grant permission to use a song.
Each project has its own requirements. The following categories explain what you can inquire about; they are not automatic offers or grants of specific rights. The final scope, availability, fees and conditions are determined in writing.
Artist Recording & Release
For singers, recording artists, groups and record labels that want to record their own interpretation and release it as a single, album track or other approved recording.
Identify the song and whether you will create a new recording.
Describe distribution: streaming, downloads, physical editions or promotional material.
Discuss necessary composition permissions and any separate permissions for the recording or production resources you plan to use.
New Arrangements & Adaptations
For creative teams wanting a new musical direction, sound or artistic treatment of a composition. Proposed changes are discussed and approved individually.
Examples: style, arrangement, instrumentation, key, tempo or production.
Lyric changes, translations and other substantive adaptations may need specific written approval.
Any arrangement or customization services, deliverables and associated fees are agreed separately.
Film, Video & Advertising
For film, documentaries, television, social video, branded media, online campaigns and other projects that combine music with images.
Explain the audiovisual format, music usage, audience, territory and distribution channels.
Synchronization permissions and any needed master-recording clearance are considered separately.
Advertising, paid promotion and other commercial uses require their own approved terms.
Stage, Television & Live Productions
For theatrical shows, concerts, showcases, television programming, live events and other professional presentations.
Describe the event, whether admission is charged and whether the performance is monetized.
Specify whether music will be performed live, played from a recording, recorded or streamed.
Depending on the use, additional public-performance, recording, broadcasting or other clearances may apply.
Exclusive Licensing — by separate negotiation
Artists and producers may inquire about an exclusive license for songs that remain available. Exclusive rights are not presumed and are not part of the standard promotional offer. Any exclusive arrangement is considered individually, including the particular rights, territory, duration, authorized uses, payment terms, limitations and any existing commitments.
Special introductory opportunity
One-year promotional license at no charge
For qualifying artists, Gran America Music may approve a one-year promotional license at no charge for specified non-commercial, non-monetized uses. This is an application-based opportunity, not a blanket authorization to use any song.
Subject to approval
What the promotional option can cover
It is intended for eligible uses such as a performance that does not monetize the song and for which no admission is charged. Only the activities expressly described in the signed license are permitted.
Key eligibility considerations
The applicant and proposed use are reviewed and approved by Gran America Music.
The use is non-commercial and non-monetized as stated in the written agreement.
No admission is charged for the qualifying performance.
Any additional conditions appear in the actual license.
Important limits
It does not automatically authorize paid appearances, monetized videos, commercial releases or advertising.
It does not transfer ownership of the composition or of a master recording.
It is not automatically exclusive, renewable or transferable.
Unlisted uses still require separate approval.
Automatic expiration: Unless a separate written agreement renews or replaces it, the promotional license expires automatically at the end of its one-year term without prior notice. All continued uses after expiration must be covered by a new authorization.
Example: an approved, admission-free and non-monetized performance may be suitable for review. A ticketed concert, monetized channel, sponsored commercial post or paid advertising campaign should be proposed under an appropriate separate license rather than assumed to qualify.
Tools for creative professionals
Production materials and artistic customization
Gran America Music can discuss more than access to a composition. Depending on the song, project and agreed terms, materials and tailored production services may be available to help an artist or production team develop a new interpretation.
Production Materials
When applicable and authorized, available materials may include:
Original song or master in WAV format
Instrumental track
Vocal track or isolated vocals
Individual stems or production tracks
Reference demo
Not every item is available for every song. Delivering a file does not itself grant rights beyond the associated license.
Customization for Your Artist
Where appropriate, a song may be developed for a particular voice, artistic identity or production concept. Possible changes include:
Lyrics and musical style
Arrangement and instrumentation
Tempo and key
Overall production approach
All changes, creative approvals, fees and deliverables are negotiated according to the project. No adaptation rights are implied merely by receiving a demo.
Know what you are requesting
Rights, recordings and permissions
Music can involve more than one set of rights. Sharing a link, accessing a demo or receiving a production file does not remove the need to obtain the applicable permissions. We will discuss the proposed use and identify which permissions can be considered through Gran America Music and which, if any, may need to be cleared elsewhere.
Composition
The underlying musical work, including its music and lyrics. A new recording, arrangement or adaptation may require composition-related authorization.
Sound Recording
A particular recorded performance or master. Using an existing demo/master can involve rights separate from those for the composition.
Use & Distribution
A film, paid promotion, broadcast, public performance or digital release can involve different permissions depending on how the work is used.
Scope is defined in writing. A negotiated license may specify the song, licensee, authorized uses, territory, duration, exclusivity, media, distribution, fees, credits, permitted modifications and any additional terms. Do not begin using the material on the assumption that approval is automatic.
Depending on the jurisdiction, project and method of distribution, some performance or mechanical rights may be administered by collecting societies, digital services or other rights holders. Any rights not controlled by Gran America Music must be cleared with the appropriate party.

Find the song that fits your project.
Discover original songs and artist demos available for inquiry through Gran America Music. Each composition has its own character, and licensing availability or permitted uses may vary by song.
Start with the music.
Browse the available songs, listen to the previews, and follow the official recording or video links when provided. When you find a song that works for your voice, label, show or production, contact us with the title and your proposed use.
A published demo is a creative reference—not an automatic offer of exclusivity, a transfer of rights or permission to use the recording.
Tell us the song title and whether you intend to record it, adapt it, perform it, synchronize it with video, or use it in another production.
Describe your project
Include your name or organization, artist or production role, planned changes, format, monetization, expected release or event date, platforms, territory and requested duration. For an exclusive request, specify the exclusivity you have in mind.
Review the proposed written terms
We can discuss availability, license scope, production materials, fees (if applicable) and next steps. You may proceed with the covered use only after the required written agreement has been approved.
No. The availability of a composition, exclusivity, existing recordings and production assets is evaluated individually. Tell us which song you are interested in and what you want to do with it so we can discuss appropriate options.
Can I use a song simply because I can play its demo?
No. Listening to or accessing a demo does not grant recording, performance, distribution, adaptation or commercial rights. All relevant permissions must be confirmed in writing.
Does the complimentary one-year license allow a commercial release or monetized video?
No automatic commercial or monetized use is included. The offer is reserved for qualifying, approved, non-commercial and non-monetized activities described in the written agreement. Commercial release, advertising and monetized distribution need an appropriate separate authorization.
Can I change the lyrics, musical style, arrangement or key?
Possible changes can be discussed, including lyrics, style, arrangement, instrumentation, tempo, key and production. Which changes are authorized depends on the individual song and written terms; a demo is not permission to make adaptations.
Can I request an exclusive license?
Yes, you may inquire if a song is still available for exclusivity. Price, rights, territory, duration and other restrictions will be negotiated separately. Exclusive rights are never assumed.
Are WAV masters, instrumental tracks, vocals or stems available?
They may be provided when appropriate for the song and project. Availability varies. File delivery and the rights to use those files are separate matters and must be covered by the corresponding permission.
What should I send in my first inquiry?
The song title, your role, the intended use, whether the project is commercial or monetized, any desired modifications, your release or event plans, distribution channels, territory and approximate timetable. That helps identify the permissions to discuss.
